Childhood obesity is a global concern which is spiralling out of control.

There are many serious health consequences of being obese, including increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, joint problems, sleep apnea, and social and psychological problems.

Children who continue to be overweight into adulthood are at greater risk for serious health problems, including heart disease, stroke, and some cancers.

  • Consultation and physical examination by Paediatrician

  • Body Composition Analysis (BCA)

Body composition analysis not only examines your child's total body water, body fat and muscle, it also reveals visceral fat, body type and body water balance; components that are key in understanding more about your body.

Safe, low-level currents are sent through the body via hand and feet electrodes. The impedance the currents encounter are measured in order to derive body composition. Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology provides accurate and consistent outputs that are highly correlated with gold standard methods.

Someone will be having the same height, same weight and same Body Mass Index (BMI); but different body composition!

So look beyond your child's weight and see what he is made of!

  • Abdomen Ultrasound

During Ultrasound screening, our Radiologist will apply gel to your child's upper abdomen.

This Ultrasound looks for abnormalities if any in your child's kidney, spleen, pancreas, gallbladder and liver.
